Naseby

After Northland we flew to Queenstown met my brother and sister then drove to dad's place.

We had a great time, although quiet, dog walking, and lots of family time.

We had a two day trip to the fishing port of Moeraki and stayed in a cottage with a very good view of the harbour and sea beyond.

Dad hadn't been to the seaside for quite a few years and the rest of us had never stayed there before.

We saw lots of seals and 3 penguins after waiting for hours for them to come a shore.

After Naseby we headed to Christchurch where we spent time with Perry family, visiting a display of clothes made to look like flowers, and the cathedral that was damaged in the earthquake

then all too soon it was time to head back to the uk, we got stuck in Dubai for a night when our flight into heathrow was cancelled due to snow. they put us up in a hotel and ten sent us to Birmingham, which was ok but our car is still in London.
